Dear St. Bernard Families,

October is almost over. Grade cards will go home Monday, I apologize for the inconvenience.  The 8th grade boys and I just returned this afternoon from three days at Damascus where they attended a Leadership Camp.  It was amazing to see them work together and pray together. It was a very powerful three days.  It is my hope that the middle school continue the trips to Damascus.

Also, on Monday the link for Parent/Teacher Conferences will be emailed to you.  Please respond as soon as possible so that we may finalize conferences by Thursday of next week.  Then, on Friday a confirmation of your dates and times will be sent home with your child.  Thank you for your support.

Our school follows Buckeye Central in closings and delays. If Buckeye Central is delayed or closed for weather, St. Bernard School will be too.

Food Drive - We will conduct a food drive until Wednesday, Nov. 14, when we will take the cans to church and then give them to St. John’s Lutheran Food Pantry. This is a lesson to think of others.

Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child – Info was sent home about this cause, and if you want to participate please send in items by November 5. We have boxes in the office.

Thanksgiving Lunch – We are having a Thanksgiving lunch on November 20. We could use a couple of helpers in the kitchen. If you are able to help, please contact the office. Thank you.
